Students' Experience of Placements - Commerce I am Dhanush C S from Bangalore. Moving from a student phase to an employee phase is a beautiful transition, and I should thank Department Of Commerce, CHRIST Deemed to be University and the placement cell for providing me with an opportunity and getting placed in KPMG for the Audit Associate role. The emotional experience of getting placed with a Big Four dream company like KPMG is something I will cherish forever. The Department of Commerce has always provided me with excellent opportunities to develop at both professional and personal level. The exposure I got from participating in many commerce fests, right from Prarambh to Mitige, helped me develop my skills, and many webinars conducted by the department helped me understand the ground reality of the corporate world. Seminars and placement training activities undertaken by the placement cell helped boost and increased my confidence level, which allowed me to crack the interviews
