MSc Statistics Placements - A Dream Debut The Department of Statistics, CHRIST (Deemed to be University) introduced an MSc Statistics Programme in the academic year 2020-21 and we have the first batch graduating in the year 2021-22. As is the case with every new Programme, the students were anxious about good placement opportunities and suitable job profiles, with the raging pandemic also adding to their worries. However the ongoing placement season has put to rest all their apprehensions and the students have been recruited by reputed organizations like HSBC, Accenture, Tiger Analytics, IQVIA, Gartner, PaperPedia, GALE, Loyalitics to name a few. The profiles offered were in the areas of Data Analytics, Research, Academics, Artificial Intelligence (AI) etc. Average package was in the range of Rs 6.00 lacs CTC per annum and the highest was Rs 11. 50 lacs.
