Placed at Accenture: A Student Narrative
“As I had already participated in the placement process for a different organization before registering for the Accenture role, i was a little familiar with the general placement process, and as such it was pretty smooth sailing for me. Before the actual assessment test, we had the company presentation. We were familiarised with the job description in detail and were briefed about the work culture. I think these presentations are beneficial as they prime you for the process and give you an idea about what the company expects from the candidates and the kind of skillsets they expect in a recruit.”
“The next step was the Assessment Test or the Aptitude Test. You have to be fast, and you need to be focused. I had a few issues with my system (even after taking the mock test). The process was anxiety-inducing, but all in all, it went smoothly once the test started. After this, I waited for updates about the shortlisted candidates. Next was the Interview round, and the shortlisted candidates were given specific slots. I had the HR Interview and the Skill interview one after the other. It was, again, a pleasant experience. I am comfortable with interviews as compared to written tests, and therefore I was not as nervous. The interviewers were friendly, and they asked a variety of questions. I was unsure what to expect, but I believe that is always the case with interviews, so I focused on remaining calm and confident.”
“The results came out the same day, and I was placed. I think both my Media Studies and Psychology backgrounds helped me. I was able to answer things confidently and remain calm. I believe Media Studies helped me think on the go and still remain eloquent. Psychology and Media together have helped develop analytical, critical thinking, and discussion skills over the years, which came in handy. My Psychology background also helped me in selling myself as a competent HR candidate who was capable of working with people and understanding how they work and navigate the world of HR.”
“I was placed with Accenture ACAD which means I’ll simultaneously be pursuing a PG Diploma. The fact that I am a triple major student helped because I was able to assure them that I would be able to handle the pressure”

ReplyDeleteIs it real to win some money in this casino? I'd like to try. I'm playing at one casino and there are not very many casinos that have such a policy, because I am used to play on https://aviator.in. I am playing right here for about 4 months, and there is no change to leave the casino without money, at least 100$ I can take with me in bad days
