The School of Social Sciences, CHRIST (Deemed to be University) offers Economics as a branch of study both at the under graduate and post graduate levels. Over the last few years, CHRIST University has witnessed a steep increase in the number of applicants keen on pursuing these programmes. This can be attributed to a robust curriculum which is in sync with the latest trends in the industry along with an excellent campus placement record.    

The application of Economics is now widespread across a spectrum of industries like healthcare, information technology, manufacturing, education, environment, media to name a few and job profiles offered include research analyst, business reporter, economic consultant, quantitative analyst, supply chain analyst etc.

Some of the prominent recruiters of Economics graduates include DE Shaw, Deloitte USI, ICICI Bank, Gartner, PwC, Ernst Young (EY), HSBC etc.
