The Big Four have been part of the placement process at Christ (Deemed to be University) campus for many years now. The Big Four have recruited over a thousand students both from the UG and PG programs over the years, as the talent pool available at Christ (Deemed to be University) is amongst the best in the country.

The Big Four refers to the four largest professional services companies consisting of Deloitte, Ernst & Young (EY), KPMG, and PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC). The majority of the publicly traded companies are audited by the Big Four auditing and accounting firms. In India, These Big Fours operate through a network of affiliates. A total of 479 companies listed in NSE are audited between them. In order to reduce the risk of exposure to audit these Big Fours offer variety of other services like tax advisory, risk advisory, financial advisory, consulting services and actuary services. Deloitte, Ernst & Young (EY), PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC)have their headquarters in the United Kingdom, whereas KPMG has its headquarters in the Netherlands. None of the "firms" within the Big Four is actually a single firm; rather, they are professional services networks.

Each of the Big Fours is a network of firms, owned and managed independently, which have entered into agreements with the other member firms in the network to share a common name, brand, intellectual property, and quality standards. Each network has established a global entity to co-ordinate the activities of the network. In the case of KPMG,the coordinating entity is a  Swiss association, and in the cases of Deloitte, PricewaterhouseCoopers  and Ernst & Young,  the coordinating entity is a UK limited company.

The Big Four firms are way ahead in comparison to other auditing firms, both in terms of revenue and workforce and ability to provide a wide scope of quality professional services to their clients. The following data of revenues for the fiscal year 2019, supports the above statement; Deloitte, $46.2 Billion; PwC, $42.45 Billion; EY, $36.4 Billion; and KPMG, $29.75 Billion. Students looking to start a career in professional services like accounting, audit & tax will find a perfect launch to their careers, because of the frequency with which these Big Four firms engage with Fortune 500 companies, and the rich exposure that they offer to fresh recruits.

The Big Four job offers to students of Christ (Deemed to be University) are not limited to accounting jobs but also consulting and risk advisory job profiles. Of late, Ernst & Young and Deloitte have also been recruiting Bachelor of Science, Law and Engineering students apart from the regular recruitment of BCom, BBA, MCom and MBA students over the years. The Cost to Company (CTC) ranges from Rs 3.3 Lakhs to Rs 7.87 Lakhs per annum for fresh graduates and post graduates, and these students have a lot of potential for professional growth over the years.

Activities conducted by Commerce Association, Christ (Deemed to be University) (CUCA), provides vibrant avenues for students to shape their future by enriching knowledge, enhancing competence, imparting life skills and internalizing values through various competitions and living up to its vision of ‘Compete, Collaborate and Create’. Commerce Association, Christ (Deemed to be University) organizes different activities on a bi-weekly basis in the areas of Entrepreneurship Development, Public Relations, Human Resources, Finance and Marketing.
