  BCom Students Speak on Placements 2022   I have been living a city life since my birth. My foundational knowledge and skills are quite strong due to this. The Department of Commerce had helped me a lot during the whole placement process through orientations and timely clarification of queries. The Faculty from the Department of Commerce had also provided me guidance on choosing the right career path based on my academic and personal background. The Academic Year 2021-22 at CHRIST (Deemed to be University), despite the disruption of normal academics due to the continuing Pandemic, has seen an excellent placement record, with 90.7% of the Post Graduate students from Master of Computer Applications (MCA), MSc Computer Science and MSc Data Science getting placed through campus recruitment before the end of December 2021. A total number of 42 organizations have participated in the campus recruitment process during the current year and recruited 206 students. The job profiles offered include Software Developer, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Data Analyst, Software Testing, Technical Writer, Instructional Designer, Data Scientist, Web Developer to name a few. The highest salary packages in terms of Cost to Company (CTC) was Rs 16.00 lacs offered by KPMG for the data analyst profile.
